CATALOGUE OF EXPERIENCES

Italian, Spanish, French and Belgian activists gave their testimony on their experiences of struggle for their rights, using among others the right & jurisprudence. This record was achieved by the partner to the initiative of this project: Solidarity Jurists (France), which has ceased operations.   • SPAIN: PLATAFORMA DE LOS AFECTADOS POR LA HIPOTECA

Following the real estate bubble, Spain found itself in an untenable position of mass evictions of homeowners with a mortgage current. The movement of the PAH managed to get some law through recourse to the European law.

 

  • ITALY: HOUSING RIGHTS AND RIGHT TO LIVE WITH DIGNITY

The video shows a tour of squat and tells the story of a victory against property speculation. Two points of attention are proposed: a warning against the risk of direct action and the need to understand and be trained to take action.

 

  • FRANCE: THE BATTLE FOR THE UNEMPLOYED AND PRECARIOUS FOR THEIR RIGHTS TO UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS

This video offers a militant and pragmatic approach to collective action, insisting that the right (the Act) is one of the tools in this fight as well as the fact that the militants are not fully entrust the defense of their rights to professionals but create effective working tandem.

 

  • SPAIN: HOW TO ENGAGE GROUP OF MIGRANTS?

The video explains the specifics of the situation of migrants in Spain (Seville) and shows by teaching steps how collective action has achieved.

 

  • BELGIUM: OVER THE TEA


This video shows the visit of a group home where coexist two forms of social exclusion of undocumented origin Peul and people in mental suffering. The film shows how this cohabitation allows each of the two part to recover some of his rights.
