DESCRIPTION OF PARTNER

The Observatory of Human Rights, DESC was established in 1998. It aims to promote social rights as fundamental rights. The main objective of the Centre is to promote a holistic vision of human rights that recognizes that all rights - civil, political, social, cultural and environmental - are fundamental rights for all human beings. This overall approach is to make these rights enforceable rights, with adequate instruments and devices to meet basic needs and to empower copyright holders.

To do this, he directed training activities, develop documents and publications, promotes awareness and advocacy to the policy. In connection with this dissemination work on social rights, the Centre focuses its efforts in the right to housing and, in particular, aims to fight against evictions in housing for purely economic reasons.

OUR ROLE IN THE PROJECT

1. Participate in all international meetings - support the identified tasks - support tasks at the local level.
2. Provide specific expertise in terms of overall vision of human rights (tools and methodology of work)
3. Actively participate in the discussion on training tools and products to achieve.
4. Organize an international meeting on its territory.
